Development of a high performance technology for the detection of COVID-19 from a drop of blood or a nasal swab with unprecedented sensitivity and low error rate.

The ability to detect an infectious agent in a generalized epidemic is crucial to the success of quarantine efforts, in addition to the sensitive and accurate detection of potential patient infections. Today, COVID-19 infection is detected using a complex test which causes a shortage of laboratory diagnostic capacity and makes it difficult to win the war against COVID-19. The proposed new technology has demonstrated that it can detect only one HIV-1 virus in less than 5 hours.
